Our mission
A public home for live prize purses
Professional endurance racing shouldn't be reserved for the top 0.1%. There are tens of thousands of athletes who train 20 hours a week, sacrifice financially, finish on podiums, and go home with a buckle and a thank-you post. That's not a recognition problem. It's an infrastructure problem.
Run.fund is home to trail and mountain running's live prize purses — and to the athletes and race directors behind them. Race organizers sell Purse Boosts through their own stores and registration systems and pay every prize themselves. Run.fund never handles money; it verifies, displays, and records it.
Athlete, event, and race-organization profiles stay connected to the public race record. Organizers remain responsible for checkout, purse terms, and every prize payment; Run.fund makes that record visible.

Founder, RunFund Inc.I was introduced to trail running in Boulder, CO, and got hooked on runs up Bear Canyon and Fern Canyon, and loops of Sanitas after work. I watched incredible athletes train obsessively, race brilliantly, finish on podiums and go home barely covering their entry fee.
Run.fund exists because that gap is fixable. Not with charity or private deals available only to the top 0.1%. With public infrastructure that makes prize commitments visible and accountable.
